Hatching pipettes

 

 

Hatching pipettes are used for the mechanical opening of the Zona pellucida of embryos or blastocysts by Partial Zona Dissection (mechanical assisted hatching).

  • the hatching pipettes are made of medical grade borosilicate glass.
  • Versions with tip lengths of 200 µm or 300 µm are available.
  • To meet international standards as well as the requirements of the FDA, the hatching pipettes are sterilised by gamma-radiation.

  • By means of microbiological tests as well as by mouse-embryo-test (MEA) each lot is screened for endotoxines to assure the highest possible safety for the user.

  • The hatching pipettes are singly and sterile packed and can be taken out of the protective package easy, quick and save.
  • For better differentiation the hatching pipettes are delivered in a pink package.
  • To assure the highest safety for the ART-laboratory, lot-specific certificates that document the results of the microbiological and MEA-testing can be recalled.
  • Holding pipettes as well as polar body and blastomere biopsy-pipettes and injection-pipettes are also available.
